Yes , you can. Just lightly sand the area, to try to get a better finish, then apply spackle over the rougher area to smooth it out.
May take 1 or 2 coats, put it on thin each time. Sand down after each applicaton. Prime it , and take a small roller and feather the area out from the spot so it blends better with the paint already on the walls. Since its flat it should be ok. Short of that you may end up ( after the repair) rolling just that one wall.
