I have 2x4 walls with sheeted with plywood and r-11 insulaton and will be replacing windows and residing my house. I'm interested in using rigid foam board to increase the r-value. If I use 1 1/2 inch foam board what steps and problems will I have if I use siding like hardy board, or something heavy like it. I'm concerned about sagging or having a structural problem......any advice??
