I have a 1994 Schult 32X76. I have a copy of the original Manufacturing drawing that shows the load bearing walls. My question concerns a 15' long load bearing wall between two rooms. I want to cut an opening between them approx. 7' X 7' to join the two rooms. If i install tempory headers prior to cutting studs and then build in sturdy headers into this doorway, would this be a feasible project and what effect would it have on this bearing wall?
Please answer to here or rtyree1225@aol.com. I really want to do this project, but am afraid of hurting the integrety of the load wall.
