Wallace Nutting's Furniture Treasury

Thanks for telling me about this book Tommy, I got it in the mail today. What a steal for about $36 shipped here to Ontario.

The carving on the bombe case in 687 is pretty wild..... the sideboard in 748 has pretty much the same shape as the one you did..... did you go from this picture and add more detail? Or was there another more detailed piece you looked at?

Ya, great book.... I'd recommend it to anyone else here on the forum that's interested in this kinda stuff. It was $9.99 on Ebay, the cover is a little messy but the insides are perfect.

I'm also looking at a book called the History of Upper Canada Furniture by Howard Pain. There are some nice pieces in it as well, it may be of interest to anyone like myself who's Canadian..... eh...
