I would sand it lightly to smooth it out. As far as a primer I would use the GARDZ primer from Zinnser which will hold back any glue that may be still on the wall. Then you will be able to apply two coats of the latex topcoat of your choice.		Member Since 07/29/2002 Total Contributions 1254 Posts
