You list (faulty product, installation or our using clorox). Are these things Rhino Deck told you were problems?
They have told us that our deck was not installed properly and wondered if they were also saying faulty product or using clorox.
Thanks! |

Your problem? |

They will try to tell you it was installed improperly or that it is your site that is the problem. Anything to keep from admitting it is their product at fault. To me sending cleaning solution and a broom amounts to an admission of fault. I feel everyones pain. We had our installed when we built our home. The thinking was a low maintenance decking would ease my back in my later years. Guess I was wrong. This decking not only looks ugly to me but is an embarrassment when others come over. I am quite surprised no one has files a class action suit by now since so many have had issues. When I can get some free time I will once again call Sabrina and try to exact some justice. But please, don't anyone hold your breath. |

Unfortunately, we are ashamed and embarressed to have guests come to our house. The Rhino Decking is on our front deck!
The deck looks so disgusting that I fear people must think we live in a dump!

Well I received their warranty, first paragraph states that if the warranty was not completed on line when purchased there is no warranty. There was never any paperwork given to our contractor for this composite. Second paragraph states that the warranty DOES NOT COVER MOLD OR MILDEW. Imagine that!!! I would love to know if this is the same warranty that was in existence when the deck was built. |

I just googled Rhino deck to look for more of their product. I was surprised to come across this website. We have had rhino deck for 2 years and are really happy with it. we don't clean it or even do anything to it and it still looks great. so just wanted to say that there is good rhino deck out there. |

Rhino decking |

I built a new house and thought I would use the composite decking material to alleviate the sealing/staining every couple years. After about a six months the color faded and after winter I have severe mildew stains on the portions of the deck that is exposed to the rain. All of the facia boards also warped. The color also faded very quickly. I would never use this product again. The builder supply is replacing the warped sections at their expense because the rhino company is dragging their feet in replacing it. They said they will deal with them later. I am researching whether I can put some type of stain on the product to bring it back to 'brown' original color. I hope this forum keeps others from purchasing this product. I will tell everyone I know to stay away from it. I hope they go out of business because this product is obviously flawed.

Rhino Deck Cleaner |

I found this site by accident since I had to finish warrtenty info for Rhino Deck (waste of time I am sure) I have had the mold problem for 7 years. Some years are better than others. I found a product that will clean it off with no effort. You will need to use gloves and old cloths. It is ArmorAll e-z Deck Wash. You spray it on and hose it off. It is the ONLY thing that works. You can use any cleaner that contains sodium hypochlorite but I have not had any luck with other cleaners. They don't contain SH It has to have this ingredient. |
