What about aluminum wiring?

05/10/2003 08:15 PM bettebuilder

we just bought a house built in 1968, and there are 5 branches of aluminum wiring. they have pigtails and antioxidant grease at the moment. our inspector said to get them updated with copalum. however, several electricians said purple twisters are better and more affordable. what's the best remedy, and where do you find good electricians? thanks!!
