When to paint

11/12/2007 01:59 PM mevhm21

We just bought an older home and are renovating it. We are having a disagreement on when to paint - before we move in - or after. The house is empty at present and we are renovating the kitchen and 3 bathrooms. We are not renovating 4 bedrooms, LR, DR or family room.
Your thoughts?

We were in that same situation as you. It is advantageous to paint before you moved your household furniture and ect.
They turn into obstacles, and it is like moving twice. Thats my two cents.

If at all possible paint before you move in as it will be easier and quicker. You also don't have to worry about getting getting sanding dust on your furniture.
