I need to find about a 6 foot section of the counter top chrome molding for a late 1950's set of Youngstown kitchen cabinet. Anyone have an idea where I can find, purchase, etc. Thanks.

I'm new to the forum and just stumbled upon your post, but if you are still looking for replacement chrome moulding, you should check out newyorkmetal.com, they are they only place I know of left that still makes this countertop trim. Also, this blog article: http://retrorenovation.com/2008/05/06/stainless-steel-edging-for-your-laminate-countertop/ has lots of informaton on what pieces you will need and how to install it. I have NEVER USED this compnay for anything before, but kept the information handy incase I needed it in the future, since their product seems hard to find. I hope it helps you!

I am remodeling our kitchen in a house I just purchased, and I have the youngstown monterey cabinets. There is about 20' of the moulding that you are talking about... Not sure how much this stuff is going for, but I would love to get it to someone who is looking for it.
