I need to find about a 6 foot section of the counter top chrome molding for a late 1950's set of Youngstown kitchen cabinet. Anyone have an idea where I can find, purchase, etc. Thanks. |

I'm new to the forum and just stumbled upon your post, but if you are still looking for replacement chrome moulding, you should check out newyorkmetal.com, they are they only place I know of left that still makes this countertop trim. Also, this blog article: http://retrorenovation.com/2008/05/06/stainless-steel-edging-for-your-laminate-countertop/ has lots of informaton on what pieces you will need and how to install it. I have NEVER USED this compnay for anything before, but kept the information handy incase I needed it in the future, since their product seems hard to find. I hope it helps you! |

I am remodeling our kitchen in a house I just purchased, and I have the youngstown monterey cabinets. There is about 20' of the moulding that you are talking about... Not sure how much this stuff is going for, but I would love to get it to someone who is looking for it.
Let me know if you still need it.
