baseboard, miter saw, and cuts

12/19/2001 06:36 AM Schlotkins

Hi there-

My baseboard is already to go in. It's a two piece setup with one piece about 4 1/2" high and rectagular and a small molded piece going on top. I'm looking for a little advice on miter saws and blades. What should I get to cut those vertical 45 degree angles? Obviously, I need something that can clear the height of that base piece. Any suggestions on blades to get the cleanest cut? Since I'm doing 7 or 8 rooms and some hallways myself, I'm not worried about spending a few bucks on a saw and a blade or two.

Thanks for all your help,

Chris
