baseboard, miter saw, and cuts

Dear Chris,
DeWalt makes a good miter saw for around $ 280.00. I own one and am happy with it. I tried the 10" saws and the 12" saw is alot more versatile. As for blades, when doing molding, an 80 tooth finish blade will make almost perfectly smooth cuts in your wood. When you get your saw, also purchace a fence clamp to hold your stock in place. I don't care how strong a person is, the wood will move. An 80 tooth, 12" blade at Home Depot runs around $ 60.00. Also get a coping saw, (cheap) to finalize your fit.
Good Luck, Len
