bathroom tile

01/13/2006 12:58 AM 1machineman

We are installing a jacuzzi tub and I am wanting to use ceramic tile on the floor. Should the tile on the floor continue up to the deck of the tub or should a change in tile color or size be made at the base of the of the tub and beginning of step? I know there is probably not a correct method but just want to make sure before we get started. Thanks

I would use the floor tile on the stepping surface and the wall tile on the facing of the step and the deck itself. You dont want to have wall tile under your feet, some can be slippery and all are not built to support weight.
