At the end of the 15' drain there is the main stack.
What if at the 'x' mark there would be something blocking the flow... both the shower and toilet would not be able to empty themselves.
The water inside the toilet bowl it at the brim. Now... say I flush the toilet once more... would the water trying to leave the toilet backup inside the shower stall?
well... a blockage could happen anywhere inside a pipe...
so i order to avoid backwater inside the shower stall the only solution would be to connect the shower drain directly to the stack?
i understand that if there was a sink connected to that pipe backwater would/could not backup inside the sink because it's level line is too high but because the shower stall is almost at the same level backwater could/would go inside the stall... YUK!
