i am looking at buying a new home in columbia SC.
the construction of the house was started in 1999 and was started as brick. over the past few years the house never got finished and was recently bought by a new builder( no one has lived in the house yet). They have put hard stucco over the brick now.
I like the house but was worried about why someone would put stucco over brick. do you think there is problems with water damage or mold or anything else. would a home inspection cover all this above.
should i even consider buying this house. would love your input
