Can the new low watt compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL) be used with a dimmer switch?

Dimming CFL's

Most can't not be dimmed.

But some can be.

But read the note at the top of the page about dimmers.

Not what you asked about, but there are also CFL's made for use in lights with 3-way switches.
