We have to replace a large amount of fencing on the perimeter of our yard and would like to create a long-life custom fence using composite "wood" materials that don't look, or feel, like plastic. We need something that either holds paint, or comes in a natural-looking shade of white for our historic property. Can anyone suggest a place to start. I know there is a great-looking composite wood FLOORING product called Tendura Plank, but I don't believe they manufacture materials for fencing. Any suggestions? Thanks, John in Massachusetts

timberwolf composite fencing from Lowe's costs $4 per 5-1/4" board (13-1/2 boards per 6' section) + 2 back rails @$11 per rail for every 6' section and each section posts are $22 each. Post caps are optional. The wood looks like redwood or cedar and has a 20 warrenty. Some highlights are no painting or staining - EVER! Will not rot and is impervious to insects. Highly colorfast with natural wood grain finish. Installs just like wood. Still I will search the internet for a cheaper cost. |
