concrete steps

02/23/2008 03:15 PM jhoffpa

my question concerns forms more than anything. i need to build concrete steps out side my house in philadelphia. it is going to be a 3'x3' platform with a step aput that. my question is can i use durock to build the form. i am planing on using rough granite to top off the steps anyway.
any advice will be welcome.
thanks

I don't think the durock would provide enough strength to hold the weight of the concrete.
