I'm looking to tidy up my basement and would like to apply epoxy paint to the floor with the colored sprinkles, but the basement floor has a nasty crack in the concrete running all the way across, close to the middle. It's been there for more than 20 yrs and does shift slightly (less than 1/8th inch) during the different seasons. Any ideas how to cost-effectively fix? All I can think of doing is taking a concrete saw and cutting out a channel, maybe 6 inches wide, then filling back in with concrete plus an expansion joint. Problem is sawing concrete in the basement would be a nightmare...
