I recently had to change the belt on my sander. I ended up having to cut it off with some sissors :~( Moving right along... To install a new belt here is what I did. Unscrew the adjusting nut on the side of the unit. This should be able to be done by hand. Then push on a new belt just enough to start it and then screw in the adjuster screw all the way tight. The roller should now be straight and not at an angle. Plug the unit in and bump the starter switch slowly until the belt moves over to the disired place. Of course you will want to do this on your shop table or shop with the sander upside down. Good luck. Mike
