When we purchased our home, there were no door handles on any of the bedroom doors and I thought it would be easy to install them. However, the holes aren't large enough for any knobs. I guess the job isn't big enough for any of the handymen I've called because none of them have returned my call.

Help! What can be done? Nobody in my family is handy, but we're willing to learn!

is it a new house or old house? what size are the holes in the doors now. i think standard size should be 2 1/8".
