that looks pretty intense.....

Was it harder than sides to do? Curves going both directions!!!

kinda makes my little case/sofa table/dovetailed thingy look a kit from a cracker jack box.... haha

You are the man! All hail King Chisel!!!

Seriously though, that is really great work, you don't see stuff like that everyday.

Drawer dovetails

Great job Tom...several questions. First are the tails all the way into thier sockets, if so how much is outside the socket that will need to be planed down. Second how thick are the drawer sides? They look like 3/4" of an inch or larger. It appears that the tails get progressively smaller from the top or is that an opical illusion form the camera. Did you have to layout the dovetail design first on paper prior to laying it out on the drawer?

Again, great job

Chuck

Those drawers are too cool. I saw them at the school and couldn't get over how good the grain came out.

I'll have some pictures of my toolbox up soon.

hey chuck.....the pins look graduated because the side id pitched toward the camera at the top....and the sides are big because i need to shape them to the curve after i cut the tails and fit the drawer front...sorry but your gonna have to wait for the full breakdown on the show...i am still trying to get my head around it.....wicked frustrating!!!but almost done...
