dual voltage sears air compressor

11/03/2007 02:34 PM daleosinski

My compressoer is set for 220 and I would like to set it for 110. What wires do I change or where can I get a diagram to do so.

Generally, the diagram is on the compressor, near the wiring box. Sometimes on the inside of the cover for the box.

Otherwise, Sears is very good about having that info available. You will need to have the exact model number, etc.

Are you sure that it is dual voltage? Not all are. And why are you switching? They usually run better at 220V.

I moved into a new house and will not use it as much as I did, plus I don't have 220 in my garage.
