exterior window wood

08/11/2007 10:45 AM k8davis

Can I repair/cover the wood trim on my windows? ON the actual window, not a decorative trim around them.

A few have very bad paint jobs (long story), and before I clean them up, I want to make sure I know what I'm doing.

All windows are weather-tight, but I'm afraid they won't be for long if I don't do something to improve the condition of the wood.

These windows are get a LOT of direct sun.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
