I'm wondering how you got all the fan blades to join tightly in the centre. Did you have them all come to a point in the middle or is there a small circular piece in there? Just having trouble with it.
try to hold off till this week ....I did a video explaining the whole thing..... Its almost impossible to talk about ... I know the video will make total sense.... Plus I was trying to give some guys a bit if time to construct the table.... So I hope to see some pictures of this thing on its feet ..... Rob.... Do you have some pictures I am dying to see everybodys progress... Thanks
I have been in the shop with Tommy and Eli and have learned the technique. See my picture on the other thread. For $19.99 I will email you the procedure. Just kidding! Remember we're getting all this info for free and at the expense of Tommy's,Eli's and Al's time. I hope Tommy can get some benches for classes in the future. The space is great and obviously the fund of knowledge these guys have is incredible (Tommy may say he is not an expert but I don't know what he is comparing himself to. Building that Bombe and other pieces he has made certainly makes him an expert in my book).
Once I learned the tech I was amazed that I could actually make something so beautiful and cool looking.

If they can get some benches and classes going it will be awsome and nice to work around other people who are into woodworking. build the fan
