fixing kitchen cabinet hinge

03/20/2005 06:15 PM MPark54

Cabinets in my kitchen have hidden hinges on inside of doors (fairly new modern cabinets--hinge says "salice"). One of these pulled out of the holes in which it was installed in the side of the cabinet. Looks like it was installed whole (screws don't unscrew from hinge, but are threaded through a connecting plastic plate and into metal sockets with threads on the outside). Anyone have ideas how I can repair this? The door is unusable as is. thanks.
