Thanks! My last doors were much better... because I had indeed followed your earlier advice on preping a board: joint, plane rough dimension, then let it sit a day and repeat to final dimension. They were nice and flat. I liked your suggestion to relax the clamps after pulling the unit together and clamping to a flat surface. I'll try it next.
I'm fascinated by your first project, but I've got to get my damn kitchen finished before I ultimately "leave the surface" so I'm not starting a new project yet. But I'm looking forward to giving it a shot eventually. The inlays looks fun.
I screwed up a mullion on a door today (had a gap just a little too big) so I tossed it and started over, since thats what you would do. It feels good to do it right. Thanks for the inspiration!
