Our house foundation is made of yellow glaze block. I would like to paint it a different color but several painters have told me that I couldn't paint it because the paint won't stick. The foundation is not shinny and slick as it has weathered 60 years. Is there any thing I can apply to the tile to make the paint stick? |

The glazing can be acid etched or sandblasted before painting. They also make special primers that can be used over a glazed surface.
