I am having new cabinet doors and drawer fronts made and painted with laquer. Can I glaze over a laquer finish, if so what product should I use. PLEASE HELP

I'm certain that any oil based glazing liquid will bond to a lacquer finish. You will have to sand the finish with a fine sandpaper to degloss the surface first. If I were you. I'd first test in as inconspicuous a spot as you can find. Sand the area and apply a coat of glaze and allow to dry for two days. Then try to scrape it off with your fingernail. If it comes off, then you know that your not going to get a bond.

As for brand, all paint companies make a glazing liquid. There is a brand of pre-tinted glazings. It's called "Old Village". You'll probably find it at a Mom and Pop paint store.
