recentley a t-joint burst under my manufactured home and the plumber said i should eventually replace the gray pipe. what is gray pipe ? |

it is a cheap version of flexable water line. the modern ,safe choice is 'pex' pipe.
it can withstand heating,freezing, and flexing, and still not leak.
some grey pipe is prone to leaking at the joints due to the fittings and aging of the grey pipe.

Bob, I have been having a LOT of problems with the gray pipe under my mobile home as well. A friend told me that the manufacturer of the gray pipe was replacing the pipe with newer pipe? Is this true and if so, where can I find out more?
