hot water baseboard remova;

10/05/2003 10:18 PM jafsunshine

I am remodeling my living room and taking out the paneling that is on the walls and putting up drywall instead. I'm running into the problem where we have hot water baseboard heaters all over the room and do not know how to remove them. Any suggestions?

The backing plates of sheetmetal are fastened to the wall studs by nails or screws. Removing the screws is fairly simple. Nails are difficult, but the heads can be drilled off.
