Are duct humidifiers typically installed in heat pump systems. I know they are good for forced air furnaces, but what about heat pumps?

A heat pump is usually a forced air system so I don't know why a humidifier couldn't be used with it but you might want to try posting your query in Bob's 'Heating and Air' forum as that is where the experts in that field monitor messages.
