Amana fridge, works fine but icemaker quit makig ice. Getting water ok but changed water filter anyway, still no ice.
Rebuildable ?fixable? any ideas?

Sounds like the freezer is not getting cold enough. Check your settings. Do not turn freezer all the way up as this will let the refrigerator part get too warm.

Temperature reading in the freezer compartment should be no higher than 10 degrees. The icemaker is usually designed to sense a 15 degree temperature in the ice itself.
