inset doors

The doors are easy, except that you will need new hinges. You will need to use some sort of stop though for the closed door to stop against. Drawers may or may not be so easy. If they are made to fill to back of unit now, they would need a total rebuild. If more normally built with modern slide hardware, you would need to remount the hardware after re-sizing the faces.

Full- flush inset doors are generally a sign of higher quality. The reveal all artound the openning must be equally balanced so the seting of the hardware must be precise. It is much faster to do overlays.

Excellence is its own reward!
