My single handle faucet is leaking. I have the repair pack. But I cannot get the threaded cap off. It has corroded very tightly. Are there any suggestions on how to loosen the threads? Thanks.

Often letting vinegar sit for at least one hour will do the trick. Good old Coke also works.
