Condensation

11/28/2007 08:52 AM windowmann2000

This time of the year after we close things up there is a lot of moisture stored from the summer months. Most of our condensation complaints come in Nov and Dec. Causes are primarily too much humidity in the home caused by a variety of things.
When your outdoor temp is in the 20-40 degree range recommended humidity levels should be in the 40% range for a max and in the 10-20 degree range 30-35% and approximately 5% lower for each 10 degree drop in outside temp.
