jacuzzi repair

My jacuzzi has a crack about 1.5 inches long, is there any way to repair this? I thought that when a jacuzzi is installed it is supposed to be supported with some type of foam, if this was done when mine was installed it has failed, as i can push down on several soft spots in the tub.

Jr,

Your whirlpool should have been installed with a layer of mortar or plaster underneath it. You should have some sort of access for the pump. You might be able to inject some LOW expanding foam to strengthen the bottom. Your fiberglass repair should be done by a pro. They can repair a crack so you never no it was there. Check with the manufacturer to see who they reccomend in your area.
