Hi,

An F3 is normally an fault code for a bad oven temp sensor...wiring to and from the oven temp sensor...bad connection in the clock for the oven temp sensor.

Fault codes and sensor helps...

**An F3 is normally an fault code for a bad oven temp sensor...wiring to and from the oven temp sensor...bad connection in the clock for the oven temp sensor.**

Was the sensor checked? What was it's ohm reading? Wires checked, ohmed all the way to the clock/control?

**My repairman was told that the electric control panel is not being made anymore**

With a new sensor, wires checked ( still to be done ) all the way to the clock and if thye are ok.....leaves the clock/control itself as a prim suspect. Old control -may- be rebuilt or new range time.

Electronic *Control*

** My repairman was told that the electric control panel is not being made anymore. **

If the oven sensor and the wiring all the way from the control to it are good, the electronic control itself (not the control "panel") could be responsibe for your problem. The electronic control IS still available and can be seen at the following link:

- Kenmore 911.4658812 Electronic Control
LINK > www.appliance411.com/data.php?ap=AP2022859

Some range models even have a fuse in the oven sensor circuit which if opened (failed) could cause the same error. Check the appliance's wiring diagram to see if that might be a possibility and/or check the sensor's wiring harness *all the way from the control to the sensor*.

** My repairman... **

Did you actually have someone out to check the appliance???
