My Kenmore dryer, model number 10182822101 does not dry clothes. It used to be able to keep up with the washer, now one load takes upwards of 1.5 hours to dry, if it drys at all. It appears to be heating because the top of the dryer is hot. I have cleaned out the back of the dryer and removed all lint. Any suggestions? |

** Kenmore dryer model number [110.82822101] does not dry clothes... one load takes upwards of 1.5 hours to dry **
That symptom is most often caused by a plugged, partially plugged or poorly installed dryer vent (see the following link).
- How long can my dryer vent be?

Hotter than usual? If so, that too is often can be caused by a problem in the venting but could possibly be caused by a problem in the dryer as well.

How about the venting *all the way from the dryer to the outdoors*??
All that venting should be *thoroughly* cleaned several times a year as part of regular home maintenance to allow the dryer to operate as efficiently as possible and help prevent dryer fires.
