kenmore side by side fridge/freezer

11/02/2009 08:34 PM mitrestre

I have a 8 year old fridge and now it isn't cooling on the fridge side. In the fridge side it has 2 vents that come from the freezer side, the top vent don't blow much air and the bottom vent don't seem to be blowing at all. model number is
106.52572202

If I know atleast what I need I can be knowledgeable when the repair man comes.

Any help is appreciated thanks

Fridge compartment not cooling properly

** fridge and now it isn't cooling on the fridge side. **

You can read about possibilities for that symptom at the following link:

- My frost free refrigerator is not cooling properly. What might be the problem?

** the fridge side it has 2 vents that come from the freezer side, the top vent don't blow much air and the bottom vent don't seem to be blowing at all. **

One is an entrance vent, the other an exit.

You can't push air into a sealed compartment without having a place for it to go. The air forced into the fridge compartment eventually goes back into the freezer compartment for cooling via the second vent. You will never feel the exit air vent blow *into* the fridge compartment.
