I have a three story house built in the late thirties. Pitched roof and flat roof. My problem: Pitched roof replaced in past two years and flat roof re-felted and sealed with poymer in the past year due to leakage problems. All seemed fine until Hurricane Irene. Then came reappearance of previous leaks in the same areas on the third floor. No sign of roof leaks so could it be possible that since the leaks reappeared in a previous site and shifting high winds were involved that the water is being driven in around the eaves and finding a familiar channel? I am baffled by this and have already spent a small fortune. |
