leg inlay question |

I'm sure this has been answered already but how do you make the dots that get inlayed into the leg. The hole is easy just a drill. But how do you make the dots?
If this has been answered in a post already could someone direct me to it?
Thanks, Tim |

Tim-I believe that's what the leather punch set is for. I just ordered mine so I haven't tried yet but the punch set gives you holes and the matching veneer dots in the sizes needed. |

Tim,
The way Pual answered your question is the way I did mine. I purchased my leather punches from Tandy Leather. A cheap set of punches were $20.00, I also puchased a 1/6" punch, which was $13.00. The 1/16" punch is for the smallest dot in the series.
