How hard it to replace the magnetic gasket on a 2 yr. old whirlpool refrigerator?

It depends on the design of the model you have. If it is installed in the traditional way using screws, you can read how to do it using the references at the following link:

If your model uses the newer 'foamed in place' door liner, replacing a gasket on it can be more difficult but is sometimes easier. The replacement seal should come with complete installation instructions.

Hey Dan O,Sorry for such a long delay in answering. it had a sticky application to go on the frame it self,and it was a foam core door,what a bear it was,thanks for asking...

You should try the older ones where all the screws have to come right out and the inner door panel off. On those you might as well remove the whole door from the fridge and place it on a table to work on. Then there's always a chance that the screws would have to be loosened again (on either style) to get the door plumb again.
