lost power |

I lost power to my entire 2nd and third floors.I still have power to basement and first floor.Its looks as if everything on fuse #2,#4,#5,#6 are what has stopped getting power.Where should i start looking and what may i find? thank you for any help |

The fuse panel usually has additional Main Cartridge Fuses that are located in a Pull-Out Disconnect.......
ONE of the cartridge fuses is probably open.....You can remove and check them with a continuity tester or Ohm/xR scale on a Multimeter........Replace defective fuse.....

Just to be sure I replaced evey fuse in the panel and still now power.I it possible that there is a problem within the panel its self,and if so how do check thankyou |

Of course it's possible for the panel to have a defect.......
It's also possible for the POCO to loose a line.......
what is happening to any 220 volt load ?
IF YOU HAVE REPLACED THE CARTRIDGE FUSES.......short-Cigar-shaped fuses in a pull-out holder........and are still without power it's time to call for an electrician........
