making glass kitchen cabinets

01/20/2004 03:07 PM tackychic

Does anyone know the procedure for cutting out the centers of kitchen cabinets and putting glass in them? The fronts have a recessed panel in the center but the backs are one level panel. I thought I could just cut the centers and then use mirror clips to hold the glass on the back, but not sure now that i know the backs are all one smooth piece. Just trying to find an inexpensive temporary way to spruce up cabinets that are so ugly you really can't ruin them. I think they might even be partly plastic. Thanks a lot!
