I need to replace the glass plate in my Sharp Carousel microwave, model #R-3H85 and the cheapest I can find one is $40.50, plus S&H. Since you can buy a whole oven for about 65 bucks, this price for just a glass plate is riDICulous!!!!!! Is there a source out there with more reasonable prices?

You may be able to find a used one at a local Sharp authorized microwave oven repair depot. I've see few trays less expensive than that and you might as well not even hope to find one from a different make that will fit which is cheaper, if it is a turntable style. Sorry.
