My wife and I own a 1984 Moduline single-wide (14X66). Not being happy with the way it is put together, I'm considering stripping the old siding and putting up a new 2X6 or 2X4 exterior wall, connected to the original 2X4 wall, and a new roof (2X4 trusses and galvanized metal cladding)which will be attatched to the sill plate of the new exterior wall. I would appreciate input on this project since I am not particularly experienced and cannot afford any big mistakes. Thanks in advance!
