Thanks so much for this idea my husband and I did this bed in one day for less than $100 bucks. Great great idea. It has made so much more room in our boys bedroom |

nice work on the hanging bed - i like the rail - does it come off or do you have to work around it when you are making the bed?
your son looks HAPPY to have a unique bed and more room to play :) |

Rough Finish |

Here is the rough finish of the project (Yes, I think I overdid the cables, but I just waned to be certain it would't fall on anyone!) :-) We are currently gutting and redecorating the room, will post full pix of the bed when that is done as I don't have any of finish status.

I would love to see a pic of the underside of your floating loft bed. We are getting ready to put up a couple for our boys. I have been planning this for a few months and located your post/instructions. Thank you so much. |
