no screws or nails - glue masonary to rigid foam to dry wall

04/17/2008 09:48 PM cogere

I am planning on gluing rigid foam directly to the masonry (block) walls of the basement. Then I glue the drywall to the rigid foam.

I am going to be sealing the masonry so driving nails or screws into the brick will "break" the seal and allow moisture in.

Will this work? If not what problems will I run into?
