i am painting a bird house and i have used a oil base primer. Is it better to use acrylic exterior or latex exterior? What is the best gloss spray sealer to spray over it so it prtects the paint?

In paint acrylic and latex are both water based but the 100% acrylic is of a higher quality and will last longer than a plain latex. You really do not need a sealer over the paint as exterior paints are made to stand up to the weather. You should apply two coats of the finish paint over the primer though.

Hope this helps out.
