I'm interested in doing the same..replacing the crap they put on the ceiling which I have some reservations about regarding health and air contamination.
Doesn't anyone have the same concerns?
Thanks. |

The ceilings in my home appear to be popcorn, however it is a built-in texture to the ceiling paneling. The only way I've been told to change this is using some type of mud and doing a smooth with texture ceiling, just not seeming to be that worth it for me. If it is true popcorn, you should be able to sand it off just like a normal house, however you will probably have to do a lot of prep work after to hide imperfections in the ceiling panels. Just what I've been told :) I have no actual application experience whatsoever. |
